That it isn't a good idea to experiment on the eggs you breed from your own dragons?

I had one of my eggs turn ND that was self-bred.

Care to explain?

It was one of the theories from way in the beginning. Like, "you need to fog your egg for 7 days and stay off your scroll during that time!!"
Just a theory somebody sometime had.

i would have done exacly that, when i first heard the NEGLECTED DRAGON i thought, hmm myabe i should ignore it, but i have yet to try it

I'm new here, but I may be able to help with this question. TJ said that bred eggs that stay on the scroll with their parents get an extra boost from doing so. It's not certain exactly what it is, but it was implied that the egg has an extra level of protection against things like sickness because it's with it's parents still. I turned a hatchling that I bred, so Itazuk-Zazuro is right that it is possible, it just may be harder because it's a little more protected than CB or eggs from the AP.
